Thanks indeed, for injecting a little levity into the depressing saga of mlb, sigh. I can say I was ahead of the curve haha when I gave up being a fan with the players’ strikes of the 80s, but that seems so the empty pathetic i-told-me-so. I wonder what it’s like to be a 12-year-old baseball fan boy who maybe dreams of home run records now, better (because that record needs saving, or breaking, or…), or…ugh.
